Academic publications
„From Conflict to Co-Creation: Aesthetic Transformation as Peacemaking” (2026) Le Rythme: Journal of Music and Movement (peer-reviewed). Explores “aesthetic transformation” as a method for peace education and rhythmics — the core idea behind my practice, from the body and the voice to social change.
„Awareness through Discomfort” (2021) Monograph, Innsbruck University Press (Masters of Peace series, ISBN 3991060329). How do people come to engage in peaceful dialogue? The book examines the mental and social processes behind this and — drawing on six expert interviews — develops strategies for “safer spaces”: voluntary, consensual, trauma-informed settings in which people leave their comfort zone and step into a conflict-positive space held by clear values and norms. It brings together psychology, philosophy, trauma research, neuroscience, and peace studies, and takes a clear stance: reject violence, expose war propaganda, and unfold potential for peace through embodied understanding.
„Creativity: The Bottom-Up Force of Peace” (2021) Essay, Many Peaces Magazine (alumni initiative and official partner of the UNESCO Chair for Peace Studies, University of Innsbruck — independent and unpaid). Creativity as a core faculty for peacebuilding and social transformation — a bottom-up approach in which artistic expression enables healing, individual and collective.
